new songs by the smittens and colin clary!

There's a free, online-only label called A Bunch of Beatniks Riding a Rocket, and it has just released a comp called Recycling the Throwaways, which includes tracks from the Smittens and Colin Clary. The Smittens track is an alternate mix of "Twitterpated", which sounds more electronic than the version that appeared on A Little Revolution from last year. The Colin Clary track is an all-new song called "Absinthe Minded". The comp also has the Sprites doing a cover of a Figurine song. And then, there are a bunch of cool tracks by bands you've never heard of before. So, go check it out.

Also, if you scroll down the A Bunch of Beatniks Riding a Rocket page, you'll find an album by Christmas Ape. I highly recommend that you download it.

Comments:
For those who didn't hear and are interested: The Hungarian show host had to go to the hospital. I know nothing of what or how critical his condition is.

And that song is called "Do You Remember the Riots?" The last time Jens was in Cleveland, he talked about how that song was about the role that the riot played in the ending of the relationship that he'd been in.
