Comments:
Fancy web site. Can you please play some Le Tigre.

Funny you'd request Le Tigre today. Right before the show, I found a Le Tigre-related bombshell to drop.

The boogiepopdoesnotsmile.com is just meant to direct people to the blog, nothing more. If I knew how to get it to automatically redirect people to the blog, I'd have it do that.

Thanks. I actually saw that they were playing and am thinking about taking some friends that are supposed to be in town from Cali to the show. I just wanted a preview.

You really should go! They put on a great show. They have videos play behind them for every song, and even have some choreographed dances. Seriously, the dances are much better than they sound. It's fun to watch, and I love to hear Kathleen Hanna speak in between songs.

I have to see what else is happening. Andy is in a hardcore band and may prefer a different show, or maybe not even a show at all. I'm sure I would enjoy them, but there’s that whole courteous host thing.

For those who don't know, I've just essentially admitted to being emo over the air. More about that later...

do your parents know you've come out as emo? how are they handling it? i hope they can learn to accept you, anyway.

the beef-island song? not at all offensive, vegetarian-wise, and even maybe a little bit pro-veg, frankly, plus hilarious.
