fa-la-la-la

Well, there are three more episodes of Boogiepop before Christmas. In case you didn't catch it, I was asking if I should play any holiday (Christmas and Hanukkah) music next week. Most people said either play none or just a few songs. I'm not sure how much holiday content I'll put into the show, but it won't be a full holiday episode.

I do have some new Christmas stuff that I got this year. Like the Harry and the Potters Christmas CD. (Yes, they have a Christmas CD.) And a Christmas single by the Bright Ideas with guest vocals from Rose Melberg. And some stuff by Saturday Looks Good to Me.

I don't have any new Hanukkah stuff, though. They still haven't come out with the sequel to the Little Shirley Beans Hanukkah comp yet.

Anyway, here are the links to the show. The end of "Since U Been Gone" and the beginning of "Safety Dance" are cut off, but otherwise, it's all good.

i guess i'm a camwhore now

WCSB has a webcam now. But it's not like you can just go to a site and see it 24/7. We have to turn it on by going to a certain site called voiceandvideochat.com and enable people to see it. And if listeners want to see the cam, they have to go to that site, too.

But only certain show hosts will use the webcam. Understandably, a number of DJs object because of privacy issues. But I can tell you that Keith from Scruggscorp/Crap is very cool with the webcam and always uses it. He's on from midnight to 2 a.m. Sunday night (Monday morning).

Anyway, I used the webcam today, but I didn't do anything interesting. I just tried not to pick my nose. That's all.

So... here's today's show.

maybe wowee zowee isn't that bad. i guess i'll give it another chance...

Just so you know, next week is probably going to be a regular two hour show (starting at 9). And then they'll all keep being two-hour shows after that.

The WCSB Open House is this weekend! Come to the station if you want to pay for your premiums and have personal audiences with your favorite DJS. Open House is this Friday (17th) from 3 to 8 p.m., and this Sunday (19th) from noon to 4 p.m. I'll be there all day on Friday, I'll only be there the first one or two hours on Sunday so I can go to Pittsburgh to see the God Damn Doo Wop Band.

I don't really have anything else to say right now, so here are the MP3s for today's show:

Obviously, I decided not to put up the Radiothon show. It's just not entertaining to listen to. Except if you missed my show, you missed the part where I played the God Damn Doo Wop Band. Too bad. They're really awesome.

Anyway, I'll start uploading shows again next week.

Stay tuned for songs from the new Mirah remix album!

playlist for november 7, 2006

The keyboard on the computer in main air wasn't working today, so I couldn't post the playlist during the show. I did keep track of everything that I played, though, so here's the list now. It's without album titles, so sorry about that if you want album titles.

As for MP3s, I'm still deciding if I want to upload any or not. It'll be boring to listen to the playback because I spend so much time on the air talking about Radiothon and trying to get people to call in to pledge.

And I ended up with $470 in pledges. Thanks to everyone who called in! Don't forget to pay whenever you get enough money to do so. ^_^

radiothon update

Radiothon has begun and all the details are on the WCSB Radiothon page. Click here for the details.

Open House will be Friday, November 17th from 3 to 8 p.m., and Sunday, November 19th from 12 to 4 p.m. I will definitely be there on Friday, and maybe on Sunday. Is anyone going. If you are, what time are you going to be there?

Anyway, I'll be on from 7 to 11 a.m. this Tuesday. (There's someone who's going to take over the 7 to 9 time slot, but they're not going to start for another two weeks or so.) If my show is your favorite show, make sure to call (216) 687-6900 during that time!
