Comments:
got the Harvey & Felix version ("I Hate New York")?

SMITTENS at the Beachland this TUESDAY!!!

No, I don't think they ever recorded it. If they did, I think they would have given it to me.

I was in Buckeyeland for several weeks. It's good to be back in my office in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria to access the internet audio stream of boogiepop wholesome goodness.

Is that close to the Black Sea, Ben? I use to watch lots of Bulgarian ships pass through the Bosphorus...

Yes, indeed it is on the Black Sea. I crossed the Bosphorous a few times at Cannakale when I still had a car, on my way to Ephesus and Bodrum. The latter seemed to me to be the "Key West" of Turkey.

yep, a party town down there. Didn't ever get to Bulgaria. have to do an eastern europe trip somtime... i'm glad you survived driving in Turkey. I stayed on buses.

_, thanks for the good music!

For some reason, we can't get Turkish students to come to the American University in Bulgaria. We have them from something like 25 different countries, but not Turkey or Greece.

I suppose, if they are going to leave the country, they'll head farther away? Not sure, i know lots go to Germany and the U.S. Have many Americans there?

I heard that most turkish people who go to school are actually the very wealthy ones - and they go to places like Boston University. Seriously, I was just told this the other day from a former Bostonian. His reasoning is that Boston is a seriously famous college town and Boston University happens to have Boston in the name (and be a good school perhaps?), thus they go to Boston University. He said that most of the rich Turkish kids in Boston are just there flaunting there mobster-family's cash. Yep, I guess Boston is cram-packed with BMW driving mobster Turks. I hope you don't think I'm a bigot. I love Turkish folks. I was just relaying what I heard the other day on this topic. Anyway, I really love "_" and BoogiePopDoesNotSmile.com and this blog (first time I decided to get my a($#$-INAPPROPRIATE!)s to the blog).

Well, if Turkey had more investments in Bulgaria, maybe more business-oriented Turkish students would want to come to AUBG. Rami Koc, the owner of Koc holdings, came to AUBG, but he set up his own university in Istanbul. I think you are right, though; if they are going to leave Turkey (or Greece) they are not likely to come to AUBG, even though the total, full cost of studying here is 1/3 (or less) what it would be, say, at Case-Western Reserve, and they would probably get some financial aid to make it even less expensive.

Right, because money is no object to the ultra rich. And it seems that they usually return home when done studying in the states. Here are some comments and stats from the Turkish Government: http://www.yok.gov.tr/webeng/current.html

I don't know much about Turkish students, but I do know some other things.

_, you may think you have all the Harvey and Felix songs, BUT YOU"RE WRONG!!!! There are at least 5 that you don't have that we've been hiding for our upcoming album. We may even tour (by which I mean travel back to Cleveland).

We don't have I Hate New York recorded, but that could change.

Tato

5 is a very conservative estimate. the new album is pretty much ready to go. but indeed we never recorded I hate new york. well except for ian's shoddy videography. but if you want it, I can probably finish it tonight.

ask and ye shall etc:
