Boogiepop is rocking today.

When I was in school, my dorm neighbor told me that she and her friends actually went to see Burl Ives in concert (she was from Columbia Station).

I see him regularly on Turner Classic Movies. He was in one of these early 1960s films made out of Tennessee Williams plays, together with Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman. Ives played "Big Daddy." Of course, it was set in the South (I can't remember the name of the film). Ives lives on forever as the voice of the snowman in Rudolf.
If you have the compilation
A John Waters Christmas, could you
play Happy Birthday Jesus by Little Cindy
off of it? I could see if i could get you a mp3 o it if need be(in car, out in cold...). So beautiful a song...
Oh shit, I forgot all about that John Waters album that everyone was talking about last year. No, we don't have it. :(
want mp3 or cant?
Yes, I want and can MP3. ^_^
Yeah! Fun show. Do you have your MagicMarker Christmas CD today? This is the only time of the year I get to hear that Lunchbox Christmas Song. I love Lunchbox!

Also - Check your email inbox for a super special Chrismas tune by your favorite little indie rockers - ShiSho - Get Behind Me Santa!

ok gimme a little, will get :)
There's a Magic Marker Christmas album? I've been playing Lunchbox off the Kindercore Christmas Two CD.
Ewww - My bad. Since it was Lunchbox I assumed it was a Magic Marker Christmas Comp.

Thanks for playing it by the way.

John Waters evidently has become mainstream enough to be interviewed on PBS. Here in Bulgaria, one of the private TV cable stations plays whatever it can get its hands on from the US, including State Department propoganda videos, or 11 year-old PBS shows. Waters was interviewed about how Hollywood has changed from the studio star contract system to free agency.
check mail...sent
sent another :)
How could you not play Last Xmas by Pas/Cal?! It should be a new holiday classic!

Jen: I didn't play it because you didn't request it this morning. ^_^

Seriously, though, I just decided to wait until next week to play it. But actually, I'd have been happy to play it if you really did request it this morning.
