Comments:
Is Boogiepop developing a 1970's-style "easy listening/beautiful music" radio station DJ voice?

Public radio, smooth and smarmy.

I wonder if WKSU will ever open their format to something besides classical music and NPR. They must have lots of good prospective student DJs who would like to try something. But, what do I know (answer, not much).

That last Jens Lekman song was interesting. I hadn't previously heard the anti-Iraqi war movement theme integrated into Tweepop.

regarding WKSU... NO, the station will never be anything but NPR.. why? it has something to do w/ what a student said(on air) in the 70's or early 80's about the May 4th shootings.. that got the student run station shut down 4-ever.. at least this is what I heard.. I also heard it had to do format. the FCC only give out so many POP/rock licenses per area, so if the station was student it would have to be "URBAN" AKA hip-hop.. and god know we can't have that... Again this is what I've heard, it may not be true...
