regarding WKSU... NO, the station will never be anything but NPR.. why? it has something to do w/ what a student said(on air) in the 70's or early 80's about the May 4th shootings.. that got the student run station shut down 4-ever.. at least this is what I heard.. I also heard it had to do format. the FCC only give out so many POP/rock licenses per area, so if the station was student it would have to be "URBAN" AKA hip-hop.. and god know we can't have that... Again this is what I've heard, it may not be true...
